A good pair should last longer than one summer. Acetate is made to be worn, every day and in every light. With a little care, your frames stay as clear and polished as the day they arrived.
What’s in the Box
Inside your Club Marbs box, you’ll find a protective case and a soft cleaning cloth, both made to keep your frames at their best.
Cleaning, Simply
A gentle rinse with water and mild soap is all your lenses need. Dry them softly with the included cloth, then store them in the case when they’re not in use.
- Skip the shirt hem. Clothing, tissues and paper towels hold dust that can leave fine scratches.
- Leave out strong cleaners. Alcohol, acetone and window spray can dull both the lenses and the shine of the acetate.
- Rinse before you wipe after a day at the beach. Sand and salt are best washed away, not rubbed in.
Heat & Storage
Acetate softens with heat. It’s what allows it to be shaped so precisely, and it’s also why a dashboard in the midday sun is no place for your frames.
- Keep them out of hot cars and away from direct heat.
- Set them down lenses up, never face down.
- Use the case in your bag. Keys and phones are not good company for lenses.
Wearing & Fit
Put your frames on and take them off with both hands. It keeps the hinges aligned and the fit just right. Resting them on your head now and then is fine, but over time it stretches the temples.
Looked after, a pair becomes part of your routine. Ready for every golden hour, season after season.
